HJC News - Bamidbar and Shavuos

Our condolences to Zahava Seltzer on the passing of her brother Eli Adler. The funeral will take place Friday, May 18th at 12:30 pm at Berkowitz Kumin.  Burial will be at Mount Olive Young Israel section.  Shiva will be at the Adler home, 3793 Bendemeer Road in Cleveland Heights until Thursday morning.

Our condolences to Zahava Seltzer on the passing of her brother Eli Adler. The funeral will take place Friday, May 18th at 12:30 pm at Berkowitz Kumin.  Burial will be at Mount Olive Young Israel section. 


Shiva will be at the Adler home, 3793 Bendemeer Road in Cleveland Heights until Thursday morning.

HJC News - Emor

This Shabbos morning the Shul will have the privilege to hear a Drasha from Guest Speaker Rabbi Dr. Moshe Berger.

Thank you to Gedaliah Corbett and his committee for running another very successful Book Sale.

On Sunday, May 13, there will be a Hachnosos Sefer Torah, dedicated by the family of the late Stewart Mandel, at the Young Israel in Beachwood. The program will begin with the completion of the Sefer Torah at 11:30 am at the home of Morris & Tova Mandel.  Procession to Young Israel at 12:30 pm, to be followed by a light lunch and short program. The entire community is invited.

HJC News - Acharei-Kedoshim

Shalosh Seudos this week is sponsored by Harold and Feiga Males in memory of Harold's father Avraham ben Yeshaya.

This Shabbos at Shalosh Seudos we will continue learning Chapter 6 of Pirkei Avos.

The evening Mishna Shiur is now 30 minutes before Mincha.  This week that means 7:50 PM.

Heights Jewish Center Synagogue announces that our Third Annual Book Fair will be held this Sunday May 6th from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm in the main floor social hall.  Please stop in and check out the huge selection of books.  Also, we need volunteers to help us at any point during the sale and after the sale concludes on Sunday at 2pm.
