HJC Announcements and Schedule - Eikev

  • Mincha today is at 6:35pm. This marks the end of the "Early Shabbos" season for this year.  Next Friday Mincha will be at 7:20pm.
  • Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by the Mendenhall family in memory of Sherry's father's yahrzeit.
  • Shalosh Seudos is sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schuster in memory of his family's yahrzeits.
  • The Stone Setting for Ted Bennett A"H will be held on Sunday, August 24 at 9:30 a.m. at Beit Olam Cemetery. 
  • Mazal tov to the Ireland family on the upcoming marriage of Adina to Milach Muskal.
  • Plan to join us on Sunday, September 14 at approximately 6:30 pm for a complete steak dinner. Reservations are required by September 3rd. Call the shul office for reservations and more information.
  •  We are beginning to take reservations for seats for Yom Tov. Please call the office or send an email to office@hjcs.org. Also, if you wish to have a Yom Tov greeting published in the Yom Tov Newsletter, please call or email. The newsletter will be published B"N in early September.
  • Rebbetzin Schur will be giving the Zichron Chaim Women's shiur this Shabbos at 5:15pm in the Yavne Building.  The topic is "The Power of Torah: Women in Tanach".  Thanks to all those who attended my shiur there last Shabbos.
