HJC News - Parshas Noach

  • Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by the Lipman and Parks families in honor of their wedding anniversaries.

  • Shalosh Seudos this Shabbos is sponsored by Harold and Feige Males in commemoration of Harold's mother's Yohrtzeit.

  • Deena will be resuming her women's Torah class, currently studying "Eishes Chayil" at the Covitch home, 2429 Elmdale, this Tuesday at 1 PM.  All women are welcome and encouraged to attend.

  • Daylight Savings Time ends Saturday night/Sunday morning.  Turn your clocks back one hour.  
  • Mincha this coming week will be at 5 PM.  Unless you have the kind of job that requires you to be at work at that time, please join us.  Your presence at Mincha-Maariv will be hugely appreciated, moreso than usual.
  • Shacharis this Monday resumes at 6:45 AM.
  • Tuesday is Election Day.  Please vote. 
  • The M-F gemara Sanhedrin Shiur resumed this past week at 6:15AM.  It's a great way to energize the mind and soul before Shacharis.
  • The S-Th Rambam shiur continues this Sunday night right after Maariv. 
  • There will be a Congregational Meeting NEXT Sunday November 9 at 9 AM.  All members are encouraged to attend this important meeting.  A light Breakfast will be sponsored by Mary and Gershon Ireland in memory of Esther Rosa bas Avigdor.
