HJC News - Vayeitzei

Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by Gedaliah and Holly Corbett in honor of the birth of their daughter Rivkah Esther.

Refuah Sheleima to George Cohen.

At Shalosh Seudos this week, we will be discussing the lives and contributions of Rav Yisroel Taub and Rav Shaul Taub, the first two Modzitzer Rebbes, whose yortzeits are this coming week.

I will be giving the third shiur in a Series of Shiurim reviewing Hilchos Shabbos, this Sunday at 8:00 PM at the Shul.  The first shiurim are available for listening and downloading on the Shul's Website: http://www.hjcs.org/audioclass.php  In all likelihood, the series will need to be extended by at least one week.

Deena Davidovich's class for women takes place on Mondays at a new time: 11 AM, and is moving to the home of Rochel Leah Cohen, 3681 Shannon Rd. in Cleveland Heights.  The class is currently studying Eishes Chayil in depth, and the lives of women in Tanach.

The Garden of Peace Shiur will be held this coming Thursday night at 8 PM.

Starting Sunday December 6 after Shacharis, we will be starting a monthly breakfast, with an Ask-The-Rabbi format, or in the absence of any questions, discussions on controversial topics.  Sponsorships are available for the breakfasts.

A Used Book Fair will take at the Shul on Sunday December 6 between 9 AM and 5 PM.  For more information, and to donate your used books, please email booksale@hjcs.org.
