HJC News - Vayeitzei

Refuah Sheleima to Sofie Hofmann.

Condolences to Zahava Seltzer and the Adler family on the passing of Zahava's mother Naomi Adler.

Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by Barbara Schlesinger and Shimon and Rivah Schlesinger in memory of Richard Schlesinger.

Our next Hot Topics Ask-The-Rabbi Breakfast is this Sunday, December 4 at 9am.  Please join us and bring all your questions.

This Monday December 5, at Maariv, we begin to insert "V'Sein Tal U'Matar", the prayer for rain, in the ninth blessing of Shmoneh Esrei.

The Shul's Chanukah Luncheon is December 24. At the Luncheon our newly elected Board and officers will be installed. Please call the office to make your reservations.

With the end of Daylight Savings Time, a number of our Mincha-Maariv regulars are unable to join us at that time of day.  If you are available to join us for Mincha-Maariv, please do so, even if you usually daven elsewhere during the week.

Good Shabbos
