HJC News - Devarim / Shabbos Chazon

Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by Robert and Maya Kleyman in memory of Maya's father Bentzion Ben Shamshon Yaakov.

The biannual membership meeting for nomination of officers and the board is this Sunday morning, July 14, at 10 am.
For someone to be elected to the Board or as an officer of the Shul in the October elections, they must be nominated at this meeting in July.

Tisha B'Av begins this Monday evening.  Maariv is at 9:20 PM, followed by the reading of Eicha.

On Tisha B'Av morning, Shacharis is at 8 AM. Following the Haftora, at about 8:45 AM, I will be delivering a series of talks before select Kinos.

On Tisha B'Av at 1:30 PM, there will be a Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation video presentation entitled "Choice By Choice Our Everyday Journey to the Geulah".  See flyer for more details.  There is a suggested donation.

Good Shabbos
