HJC News - Bechukosai

Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by Rob and Jan Altshuler in honor of their 40th Wedding Anniversary.

Refuah Sheleima to Hillel Joseph, Larry Pomerantz, and Neil Parks.

Heights Jewish Center's Fifth Annual Book Fair was a huge success. Thanks to Gedaliah Corbett and his committee for all their hard work and commitment.

Rebbetzin Deena's Class, entitled "Ethics of the Fathers, for Mothers" continues on Monday mornings at 9:30am, at the Romanoff home in Cleveland Heights.

Beginning the last Shabbos in May [May 31st], we will have a monthly Simcha Kiddush.  All members are invited to celebrate their simchas for the month (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) by co-sponsoring a chulent kiddush for as little as $18 per name (you can donate more if you wish).  You can celebrate as many simchas as you want, or wish other Shul or family members a happy birthday.

NOTE: Due to Lag B'Omer falling out on Sunday this year, it is permitted for one to get a haircut today, Friday, in honor of Shabbos.

Good Shabbos
Rabbi Davidovich
