Deena's weekly class for women takes place every Monday at 9:30am at our home, 14385 Washington.  All women in the community are welcome to attend.

The next Simcha Kiddush, covering both November and December, will take place on December 5.  Please contact the office or Jason Claude to co-sponsor for as little as $18 a name.  

The shul will be having a wine order.

 Order deadline: Monday December 7th.

HJC will be having a Shabbos Chanukah luncheon on December 12.  Our new board and officers will be installed during this luncheon.  Anyone wishing to help defray the cost per person by underwriting a portion of the cost as a donation, please contact the office or Rob Altshuler. 

HJC is again teaming up with Censtar Energy to cut your heating costs at home while helping the shul.  Please contact Suri Goldman at  surig@censtarenergy.com  for details.

I have been informed that there have been a number of near-misses of people walking in the streets on Shabbos. Please take care to walk on the sidewalks and take precautions when crossing intersections, especially after dark.  Hopefully, our city's services will resume their responsibility to clear the sidewalks this winter and keep their end of the social contract.
