HJC News - Cholent - Women's Shalosh Seudos

• This Shabbos, tomorrow, Deena will host a Shalosh Seudos for women at 6:15pm at our home, 14385 Washington.  RSVP unnecessary but appreciated.  If you did not RSVP, please come anyway.

• Cholent Kiddush this week in honor of Shabbos Mevorchim. 
  

• Please note that the latest time for Krias Shema is 9:40pm.
  

• Rosh Chodesh is Wednesday.

• All night learning on Shavuos a week from this Sunday night will begin at 12:15am. The first Shacharis is at 5:10am.   Each shiur will be Shavuos related and approximately one hour long. 
  

• Shavuos in Halacha and Minhag (12:15-1:15)
  
• Shavuos in Chumash  (1:15-2:15)
  
• Shavuos in Gemara  (2:15-3:15)
  
• Shavuos in Kaballa  (3:15-4:15)
  
• Shavuos in Tefilla  (4:15-5:00)

• There will be a 9am minyan on Shavuos morning.  I plan to attend the 9am minyan.

Deena's Eishes Chayil Group meets Tuesdays 12:30PM at the Covitch home, 2429 Elmdale.

Short and Sweet learning Opportunities at the shul:
 

• Monday through Friday a half-hour before Shacharis, there is a Gemara Sanhedrin Shiur.
  

• Sunday through Thursday a half-hour before Mincha there is a Rambam Shiur, which loosely follows the Daf Yomi Cycle.  We are currently learning Hilchos Nezirus.  The next section will be Hilchos Sotah.

• Shabbos morning one half-hour before Shacharis there is a Chumash Shiur that covers a broad theme of that week's parsha.

• Shabbos afternoon one half-hour before Mincha there is a Shiur in Navi.  We are currently in the middle of Sefer Shoftim and the story of Shimshon.
