The shul is planning its second annual Book Sale, on Sunday May 15, from 9am to 2pm. If you have any books to donate, please drop them off at the office during office hours.  If you would like to help out, email booksale@hjcs.org

Heights Jewish Center's 150th Anniversary Banquet is just a few weeks away, Tuesday May 24 at 6pm. We will be honoring Rabbi Schur's memory, recognizing Alex Adelman and Lena Katz for their many years of service to the shul, and expressing our gratitude to Rabbis Burnstein, Granatstein and Katz who were of great assistance to the shul after Rabbi Schur's passing.  In addition, I will be formally installed.  The keynote speaker will be Rabbi Tzvi Schur. We look forward to everyone's participation.  To RSVP or to be included in the journal, please contact the office at office@hjcs.org or 216-382-1958.
