HJC News - Acharei Mos-Kedoshim

Shalosh Seudos this week is sponsored by Harold and Feige Males in memory of Harold's father.

Mazel Tov to Herb and Toby Geduld on the birth of a great-grandson.

Refuah Shleima to Sylvia Cohen.

Condolences to Sol Waxman and Sarah Greenberg on the recent passing of their brother Jack Waxman.

The Men's Chabura learning the book "Garden of Peace" by Rabbi Shalom Arush had a great first week last Shabbos.  This week's Chabura will be held this Shabbos afternoon at 6pm at the home of Lenny and Penny Beer, 4377 Churchill.  Please let me know if you would like to be a host on a one-time or rotating basis.  "Garden of Peace" is available at the local Judaica stores.  I don't think I have done anything in my life as important as starting this Chabura.  I think every man, no matter how great his marriage, should own a copy of this book and try to attend the chabura.  Suggestions for improving the chabura are welcome.

Rabbi Lazer Brody, the translator/author of "Garden of Peace" will be in Cleveland this week!  He will be speaking at our shul on Wednesday evening, May 6. Mincha will be slightly earlier, at 8pm, followed by Rabbi Brody's talk. The talk is entitled "The Solution To All Your Problems".  Admission is $5.  Maariv will follow.
The Wednesday night Sefira shiur will not take place this week.

The pre-Mincha Rambam shiur is beginning Hilchos Gezeila V'Aveida (Laws of Theft and Lost Property) this Sunday at 7:40pm.
