HJC Torah: Why will there won't be a "Flood Part II"?

Why won't there be another Flood?
When is a demotion a good thing?
Why can we eat meat?
Why does Noach need to be reminded not to murder?

These questions, and more, will be addressed when you watch the latest video talk:

Please share your feedback with me.
Take care,

HJC News - Bereishis / Shabbos Mevorchim

Mazel Tov to Yona Berkowitz on his Bar Mitzvah celebration this Shabbos. Mazel Tov to Yona's parents Jordan and Rochie Berkowitz, and to Yona's grandparents Gershon and Mary Ireland. While circumstances determined that the celebration is not at HJC, the whole shul shares in this simcha. Mazel Tov!

This Shabbos after Mincha, we will be discussing the life and times of Rav Yehuda Leib Schneersohn, the Rebbe of Kapust, one of the almost-forgotten non-Lubavitch Chabad Rebbes; whose Yohrtzeit is the 3rd of Marcheshvan.

Reminder: This Shabbos is Shabbos Mevorchim. Rosh Chodesh Marcheshvan is this Sunday and Monday.

Here is the latest talk, called "East of Eden; Understanding Cain, a little bit", with an insight on Cain, who is dismissed too easily as merely the world's first murderer. This short talk provides some more insight.
