  Here is an opportunity for an enspiring evening.  Supporting our shul means supporting our members endevors!  Rochie has been a valued member of Heights Jewish Center for years, and is the Principal of Chaviva High.

Chaviva is bringing in Rivka Ravitz, the Chief of Staff to Reuven Rivlin, the 10th President of Israel on Sunday, Nov. 21st. 

 The entire community is invited to attend  this speech!

Next Shabbos, Alvin Cohen will turn 92 years old IY"H.  (some say 94??).  

Kiddush next week will be in his honor.  This will be a cholent kiddush.

Shabbos Chanukah (December 4) we will be having a luncheon.  During this luncheon, the new slate of officers and board members will be installed.

We are firming up the menu, but it will include chicken schnitzel, cholent, potato kugel, and much more.  Pricing will be firmed up this week.  Call the office or send an email to make your reservation.

HJC Torah and News: Parshas Toldos

Mazel Tov to Max and Chaya Winters on the birth of a boy. Mazel Tov to grandparents Yisroel and Sherrie Mendenhall. A Shalom Zachor will be held tonight at the Mendenhall home, 4292 University Parkway, starting at 8:45pm. 

Condolences to Sandy Zeitler on the passing of her mother. Sandy and her siblings will be sitting shiva at 4315 University Parkway.

Shacharis (Sunday-Thursday) is at 8am.
Mincha/Maariv (Sunday-Wednesday) is at 5pm.
Visitation hours (Sunday-Wednesday) are 10am-12pm, 3pm-6pm, and 7:30pm-9pm.
Shiva ends after Thursday morning Shacharis.

Condolences to Sandy Zeitler on the passing of her mother Jeanette Seaman, Genesa bas Yosef.
The levaya will be at 10:30am tomorrow, Friday, November 4th at Berkowitz-Kumin. Kevurah will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Road, Solon, OH 44139.
