HJC New Policy on Mi Shebeirach for Cholim

We are implementing a new policy beginning this Shabbos with regard to the Mi Shebeirach we make on Shabbos for Cholim.  As usual the gabbai will read the names on the list.  At the end of the list he will pause for everyone to quietly say any additional names.  The gabbai will then finish the Mi Shebeirach.  We will no longer take names at the bimah.  If you have names that you wish to be said by the gabbai in the Mi Shebeirach we encourage you to email or call the office and provide the name in advance.  Otherwise you may say the name yourself when the gabbai pauses.

This policy is being implemented as part of our effort to increase the efficiency of our Shabbos morning services.

Thank you for your cooperation.
