This week at Shalosh Seudos we will discuss Rav Kook. Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by Rabbi and Deena Davidovich in honor of their daughter Shalva's Bas-Mitzvah.
Rosh Chodesh Elul is this Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Wednesday evening at 8 PM, Heights Jewish Center will host another "The Power of an Hour" event for the women and girls of our community. The speakers will be Rabbi Davidovich and Rabbi Notis.
Our next Hot Topics Breakfast is Sunday September 4 at 9am. The opening talk is entitled "Halacha, Ethics and the Frightening Future of Orthodox Judaism", followed by Q & A on this and any other topic.
The Shul will be preparing a Yizkor Booklet for Yom Kippur as well. Please call or come into the office between 8:30AM and 12:30PM to submit names and make donations for the booklet. Details are available in the office.
