A message from the OU. (forward)

As a service to our members, I am forwarding this email.  If you are interested, go th the link near the bottom and you can sign up there.  FYI, I have joined in, and it looks like a worthwhile 2 minutes per day for 4 weeks, working toward true Shalom.

Dear Shul Leaders,

As we continue to navigate the pandemic and the myriad ways it has impacted our communities, it is of paramount importance that each of us bolster the personal and communal relationships we have with each other.

In the spirit of our mission to share innovative ideas with our shul network, we would like to share with you a program developed by the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation which addresses the strengthening of one's personal relationships.

This initiative has been adopted by a number of shuls across North America and we would like to make you aware of it to the extent you feel it would be a meaningful resource for your community.

The global initiative, appropriately titled The Shalom Challenge, consists of a daily short video or thought sent to one's email or WhatsApp account over the span of four weeks. Each video will draw attention to a different relationship theme on the topics of marriage, parents, in-laws, children, friends and work relationships, offering insights and suggestions. Shuls can join the program as a team or simply share the link for community members to sign up on their own.  An example can be found here

For those communities interested, we encourage you to sign up directly on the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundations website.
