HJC News - Acharei-Kedoshim

Welcome to our new members, Rabbi and Mrs Barry Reichman.

Please be aware that we have slightly altered our seating policies. Instead of specific seats marked, we have now opened the whole row for seating. In doing so, we are relying on our members and visitors to abide by safe distancing practices.

As well, this is our first week welcoming back kiddush! After davening we will go outside and Kiddush will be made outside. There will be a table set with pre-packaged kugel and pastries so that we can nosh and enjoy some time together after davening.

This Shabbos afternoon after Mincha, we will look into chapter 3 of Pirkei Avos, and speak about Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. Lag B'Omer is next Friday.

Rebbetzin Deena Davidovich has resumed her Monday morning shiur for women
by giving a series of classes on Pirkei Avos. The classes will be held in the Shul social hall (with all the rules etc.) this coming Monday April 26 at 9:30am, and then on Mondays May 3 and May 10 at 9:30am.

The shiur will be l'iluy nishmas Rebbetzin Davidovich's father, Harav Mordechai Hershel Ben Shmuel David.

Good Shabbos
