HJC News and Torah - Parshas Terumah

This week's Festive Friday shiur, on the Beis Hamikdash quality of Shabbos.
Length: 6m11s

Kiddush is sponsored by Barbara and Larry Mervine in honor of Larry's Bar-Mitzvah Anniversary (Parshat Terumah) and his milestone birthday in February.  At age 13, he really did not know that the Sedra would forecast his professional career.  Although he started work as a public school teacher and administrator, most of his work focused on medical schools in seeking gifts to fund medical research, equipment, laboratories as similar to the gifts solicited and collected by the community to build the Mishkan in the wilderness.  Philanthropy has been the major part of his professional career!
Please enjoy the Kiddush!!

Shalosh Seudos is sponsored by Boris and Rachel Kagarlitskiy for a refuah sheleimah for Boris's Father Mordechai Avrom Levi Ben Vella and by Jeff and Melanie Muller in commemoration of the Yahrzeit of Melanie's father Hersh Elimelech Ben Hertzel.

Refuah Sheleima to Marla Lipman.

Mazel Tov to Eema Ben-Tor on the birth of her thirteenth great-grandchild.

A big Thank you to Mike Swirski and to Eema Ben-Tor for volunteering so much time to the shul.

Good Shabbos
