Rebbetzin Deena will be giving a talk to women on Shabbos at 5:30pm on the topic of "Simchas Chosson V'Kallah - Giving joy to a bride and groom" as part of the Zichron Chaim Women's Lecture Series, at their new building at 2392 South Green.

The Navi Shiur this Shabbos will be completing Yechezkel Chapter 12, with a special Shabbos Nachamu theme.

Shalosh Seudos is sponsored by Rabbi Jason and Sandra Claude in memory of Jason's aunt, Gail Avidon A"H. At Shalosh Seudos I will be talking about Rabbi Yoel Kahn Z"L, whose yahrzeit was the 6th of Av.

There will be a congregational meeting Sunday at 9:00am for the purpose of presenting a proposed slate for the upcoming October elections.  This is the only opportunity for nominations from general membership, per our ByLaws. If you plan to nominate someone from the floor,  please be sure that they are a member in good standing.  Associate members are not eligible for the board.  If you are uncertain about a potential candidate,  contact Rob Altshuler at 216-387-3340  or email raltshuler12@gmail.com  to confirm said standings.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.  Light refreshments will be available.

Rebbetzin Deena's weekly Torah class for women continues this Monday morning at 10am at our home. All women are welcome. Please bring your little ones who are welcome to come and play during the class.

HJC is inviting all men in the community to our Wednesday night Beis Medrash program, and a new Ramchal shiur.
We'll be learning the classic sefer Mesilas Yesharim right after Ma'ariv. Our plan is to divide the time between chavrusa learning and a short shiur.
A chance for friends and future friends to get together and learn, and maybe nosh a little.
We would love to see you there.
We will be starting Chapter 3.
Sponsorships are available as well, whether or not you can make it.

A page with nine short shiurim on the text of the Shema, which is in this week's Parsha: https://audio.hjcs.org/series/shema-59

Good Shabbos!
