Refuah Sheleimah to Shira Katz.
The Shul will be having a Chanukah Dinner and Installation of the officers and board on Monday evening, December 2. Menu includes; soup, chicken, beef stew, vegetables, salad, potato latkes and dessert. Please see the posted fliers for details.
Mincha this coming week will be at 4:45pm. This means that several of our regulars will no longer be able to join us for Mincha-Maariv until the end of the winter. Please, help us guarantee a minyan this week.
Rosh Chodesh Teves is this Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Mondays, December 9, 16 and 23, I will be giving a series of shiurim exploring the similarities and differences between traditional Jewish thought (Torah and Medrash) and themes found in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
Designed to engage fans of Tolkien's work as well as serious Torah students, these one-hour talks will be held at the Beachwood library. There also will be time for Q&A.
