Thank you to all the volunteers who made the Chanukah dinner a big success!
On Mondays, December 9, 16 and 23, I will be giving a series of shiurim exploring the similarities and differences between traditional Jewish thought (Torah and Medrash) and themes found in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
Designed to engage fans of Tolkien's work as well as serious Torah students, these one-hour talks will be held at the Beachwood library. There also will be time for Q&A.
Next Friday, December 13, is the Tenth of Teves, a Fast Day. See the Schedule for the changes.
