HJC News - Parshas Shemos - Shabbos Mevorchim
Shalosh Seudos is sponsored by Jeff and Melanie Muller to commemorate the Yahrzeit of Jeff's mother Josephine Muller A'H. This week we will speak about the Baal Hatanya, Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, whose Yohrtzeit is the 24th of Teves, and his connection to Rabbi Eliyahu Dessler, the author of the Michtav Mei'Eliyahu, whose 70th yohrtzeit is the 24th of Teves.
This Shabbos is Shabbos Mevorchim Shevat. Rosh Chodesh Shevat is this coming Thursday, January 11.
This Motzoei Shabbos, January 6, at 8:15pm, Heights Jewish Center will host a Shovavim symposium for married women, led by Rebbetzin Deena Davidovich and other respected rebbetzins in the community. See the attached flyer for details.
Here is a link to some short shiurim I have recorded for Parshas Shemos. I hope you gain from them. https://audio.hjcs.org/series/parshas-shemos-51
