Mazel Tov to Simcha and Adina Tamkin on the birth of a boy. There will be a Shalom Zachor tonight at the Tamkin home 23807 Edgehill Drive starting at 8:15pm tonight. The Bris will be held Shabbos afternoon at 12:30pm at the old Shteible, now the Anshei Lubavitch shul, on Green Rd next to Mika's.

Shalosh Seudos is sponsored by Rabbi Boruch and Chani Reichman to commemorate the Yahrzeit of Chana's mother Yachet bas Moshe A'H and by Jack and Margarita Judkovich to commemorate the yahrzeit of Jack Judkovich's mother Raizel Bas Yakov A'H.

Please note that this Monday, January 1, Shacharis will be at 8am. One would think that it being a day off work for most people that there would be no problem with that, but this past Monday we had a tough time. Please make it a point to join us on Monday as usual.

Next Motzoei Shabbos, January 6, at 8:15pm, Heights Jewish Center will host a Shovavim symposium for married women, led by Rebbetzin Deena Davidovich and other respected rebbetzins in the community. See the attached flyer for details.

Here is a link to four short shiurim I have recorded for Parshas Vayechi. I hope you gain from them. https://audio.hjcs.org/series/parshas-vayechi-50

Regular reminders:
The Chumash Shiur on Shabbos morning at 8:30am is exploring every week's parsha's connection to Tefilla, and how to enhance our davening.

Parents of young children: Remember that we look forward to seeing your children in Shul on Shabbos morning and have two programs for them, according to age. Chaya Leba Winters for the younger kids, and Rabbi Kirsch's youth program.

I give a Tanya Class for women on Tuesday evenings at 7:15pm at the Dynan home, at 2260 Belvoir, open to all women in the community.

The HJC Beis Medrash Mesilas Yesharim Chabura continues this Wednesday after Maariv, starting a new chapter: Chapter 11.
