The band, Mekim↑, is back and has another free concert, at Milky Way restaurant, on December 16th, Motzoei Shabbos, 8:30pm to 10:00 pm to benefit Magen David Adom with inspirational modern Jewish music. Mekim↑ are Steve Baker, Joey Steiner, Andrew Byer and Zaki Setnik.

This Shabbos is Shabbos Mevorchim Teves/ Rosh Chodesh Teves is this Wednesday, when Shacharis will start at 6:35am.

After the Kiddush on Shabbos morning, the Shul's Shabbos Chanukah by-reservation-only Luncheon will take place.  

This week at Shalosh Seudos, we will be continuing the Biography-History talks. This week I will give a talk entitled "Bayamim Haheim - Bazman Hazeh" ,Chanukah,the Ancient Greek methods of oppressing Jews, and similar regimes in later eras.
